Homework Coach, Tutor and Special Education Advocate
Hello Families! My name is Carrie Blanche and I am a credentialed Special Ed and Art teacher with 16 years of elementary, middle and high school experience working with learners to achieve their goals. I offer a personalized approach to homework, project organization, and self-advocacy incorporating technology with a focus on classroom assignments completion and learning expectations. My passion is working with tweens/teens with learning disabilities, attention or neurological differences to increase their academic competence, confidence and self-advocacy skills. I enjoy working with families new and not so new to Special Education, helping navigate the complex world of IEP and 504 Plan accommodations and services. I live in the Richmond Annex and can meet with you and your child either in my home or your home. I have worked successfully supporting students with busy after school schedules via a hybrid program of in-person and remote meetings.
Please contact me at carrieblanche [at] gmail.com or call my cell at 510-326-9048 to discuss your child's background and your concerns. I am happy to share parent references as well as my rates.
