Hello! I am an experienced elementary classroom teacher who specializes in reading instruction. I implement a multi-sensory approach that is supportive of all types of learners in the format of individualized tutoring sessions. My program includes phonological awareness, phonics and high-frequency word instruction applied to both reading and writing, and is driven by progress monitoring assessments. I believe a balance of rigor and joy is essential to any teaching and learning endeavor, which I bring to both my classroom teaching and tutoring practice!

I am offering virtual sessions via Zoom as well as in-person instruction. My rate is $50 per half-hour with sessions lasting 30-60 minutes depending on your student's stamina.
