College Essay Writing

College Essays are the most critical component of the college application process because they allow the college admission teams a tiny 3 minute glimpse of who ‘You’ really are. Therefore it is really important that you use these written words to set yourself apart from others who perhaps have the same qualifying scores and activities.

The Process:

I begin with a chat with you to come up with an idea for the personal statement that showcases your most authentic self. The same process applies to the individual supplements, plus I advise and help with the college research to write an effective “Why this college” supplement. I then review what you have written, and share remedial feedback for edits and ideas. I do not write the essays for you, I gently nudge you to find your thoughts and words.

Professionally I have a MA in English literature and an MBA. My clients range from essays for school and college applications, editing corporate white papers and research papers.

It is always good to meet at a coffee shop for 30 min first to see if we are a good fit for each other. This is a complimentary session.
