Catch-Up Tutoring - Sliding-scale priced tutoring in a wide variety of subjects from highschoolers!
Catch-Up Tutoring is a student-run, affordable tutoring service available for all Bay Area K-8 students for the summer. The service is based around answering a demand for supplementary education that has been created by a large chunk of the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year taking place at home. Whether parents want instructional work on subjects such as Math or Science or simply want to keep their child engaged this summer with interesting Chess lessons, Catch-Up Tutoring efficiently provides it. Catch-Up Tutoring has high-schoolers willing to teach in a wide variety of subjects, along with the conventional Math, Science, and English. Catch-Up Tutoring also has sliding-scale pricing; we recommend $10 an hour, but no parents should feel in any way obligated to pay a dime, as Catch-Up Tutoring is designed to be as accessible as possible. Our tutors have chosen to teach out of a desire to pass on the knowledge that they themselves are passionate about, not because they are looking to make money. Catch-Up Tutoring will be primarily digital-based distance learning for now, but this may change as restrictions are loosened.
