Academic Coaching, Executive Function, Writing, College Research and Essays
Greeting Parents,
Over the last 17 years, I've been enthusiastically working in the Bay Area as a Teacher and Academic Coach/Tutor, focusing on helping students with Writing, Executive Function, and College Research and Essays.
Currently, I'm accepting new students who are seeking to improve their persuasive writing skills, executive function and study skills, and/or need to learn how to manage their own educations. Also, I help students with the entire college application process, including working with them to create compelling entrance essays, and discovering Colleges and Universities which are truly a good fit.
My Methods and Philosophy:
Over time, I've learned that effective tutoring is more than knowing a subject - it's knowing how to connect with students and teach in a relaxed and inspiring way. I approach my students in a calm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. This approach allows them to feel relaxed and focused, which truly allows them to learn a subject or new skill.
