PERFECT FOR THORNHILL PARENTS! My son loves Tammy Vance's in-home ''developmental preschool and after school care,'' Valley View. Hours are 7:30 - 1:00 and extended care 'til 6:00 (she picks up my son at 8:00 am and again after school at 3:30 from Thornhill). Her program is very professional and covers learning, dance, creative movement, art & crafts, cooking, some classes taught by outside teachers. Homework time, healthy food, a safe and fun outdoor play area and her obvious love for what she does make this a place I highly recommend.
She takes kids about 3-8 years old, with a 6:1 child:adult ratio, rates are very reasonable. The house is dedicated to the daycare and well stocked with supplies, toys and learning tools. It's just off 13 and Carson Rd.
