I would like to recommend Eliane Pires DaSilva's daycare.My older and younger daughter have been raised by her from the time they were a few months old.Eliane is excellent and has a natural gift with children.She has the patience of a saint, is very calm, assuring and the kids love her.My older daughter still cries out in delight everyday we pick her sister from her house.It's a very comfortable home-based day-care.The house has a covered deck and a backyard the kids play in.She's less than 1 block from San Pablo Avenue, very close to El Cerrito Del Norte BART, and within minutes of bus lines.She cooks for the kids - breakfast, healthy snacks, lunch and another round of snacks in the afternoon.Her cooking is so good!She was very helpful to put both of my girls to a routine - sleep and feeding-wise.She's very responsive and very easy to get along with.She has been open to anything I wanted to discuss with her.And most importantly, she really cares for the children.She's not in this for anything else besides doing what she loves the most.You can e-mail me or call Eliane at: (510)260-5462.

Hi, I would like to recommend an excellent home-based day-care - Eliane's day-care. My daughter, now 5, has been with Eliane since she was 3 months old, for 3 years until she started preschool. Now, my younger daughter, now 1.5, is also with Eliane, and has been with her since she was 5 months old. I cannot say enough good things about her. She's so good with children, loves them like a mother, treats them so well and helps raise good, confident and happy kids. And she cooks so good, my kids eat better at day-care than they ever do at home! Eliane will be looking to fill 1-2 spots in her day-care around June. I am a very picky mother who weighs options 10 times before making any decision and not once have I questioned my decision to trust my children with Eliane. We have had a change in our lives, so our beloved childcare has openings available. They have reviews in bpn under the name Eliane's and Anita's, but have recently changed their name to Cantinho Feliz. I highly recommend this wonderful, nurturing place for the care of your infant to four year old! My son has jumped into their waiting arms every day. If you have a problem with your childcare provider giving lots of hugs and kisses to your child, then this is not the place for you. It is so obvious that they truly love children and respond to the individual needs of each child in their care. We feel so lucky to have found them! Eliane is Brazillian and often speaks Portuguese to the children, though she is absolutely fluent in English. I appreciate her professionalism in her interactions with parents and in the administration of the business end of things. The house is set up, child- proofed, and kept clean with little ones in mind. They provide healthy meals and have reasonable rates. They are located in El Cerrito a few blocks from Moeser Lane. Hi! I would like to recommend Eliane and Anita's day-care in El Cerrito. My daughter has been going to day-care under Eliane's care (and then together with Anita's care) since she was 3 months old and she's 3.5 years old now! My second daughter will also start going there once she turns 4 months old. We are very happy parents - our daughter loves being there, it's a very loving and nurturing environment and Eliane and Anita are very hands-on and close with the kids. Bonus: they cook fantastic food for the kids, too! My daughter eats more at day-care than she does at home! I cannot recommend them enough. Please call if you would like to talk in person. I would like to recommend Eliane's and Anita's Family Childcare in El Cerrito. We have placed our daughter with Eliane since she was six months old; she is now two and a half, and we've been very happy with the love and care that our daughter has received at Eliane's. The home daycare is located in a quiet residential area of El Cerrito, and it is a safe, clean, nurturing environment. My husband and I have a six-month old baby, and we plan to place him with Eliane when I return to work. Our daughter gets to play, sing and dance and do art.
