Boynton Micro-School

A small, play-based preschool for children to have an adventure filled day playing in nature, going on field trips, learning through hands on projects, all with a multi-cultural lens.

We have a well thought out learning philosophy that is rooted in play. We are in conversation with leading early childhood education reformers to learn and share best practices. We co-create learning along with the kids. We spend most of our days outdoors and use learning provocations that are focused on natural cycle. 

We have a dedicated van for kids to go on frequent field trips: Tilden, Arlington Park, Codornices, Aquatic Park, Oakland Zoo, beaches, Lawrence Hall of Science, Bay Area Discovery Museum, Golden Gate Park, farms, museums, etc.
