Our extraordinary daycare provider has an opening. She takes between 3-4 kids in her home. Her hours are 8-6 5 days per week. She is very inexpensive ($170 per week)and worth much more. We love her like family. She is looking for a child 6+ months to care for. I can give you more detailed information about our experience if wanted. My name is Marybeth.

If you're looking for an affordable, warm, and nurturing daycare, I recommend Alicia Alva. She's been taking care of our son for over two years. One of the best things about Alicia is that she cooks a homemade meal every day. She serves brown rice, vegetables, and chicken along with healthy snacks. For a working mom, that was such a blessing to not have to worry about packing lunch. The daycare is not mixed in with her personal space instead the entire lower level of the house is dedicated to the children. There is a large yard where the kids can play with the dog, ride trikes, and run around. Currently she has two spaces for toddlers and will care for only four children at a time. Alicia has over twenty years experience and offers a very affordable rate. Thanks! Feel free to email me with any questions. Contact: Alicia Alva, 510-832-2336 License: 0645239

Looking for a small family daycare or perhaps the perfect transition for a two year old who has been at home or with a nanny? Look no further! Alicia has cared for each of my two children over the last 4 years and I couldn't have wished for a kinder, more nurturing person to watch over them while I was at work. She will have a full time (very inexpensive) spot available for a 2 year old, beginning the first week in September. Give her a call for more information, schedule a visit and check out her references. Your childcare search is over! Contact: Alicia Alva, 832-2336

Small family daycare with up to 6 children has a spot for a 2 year old. Alicia has been a blessing to our family. My second child currently goes there. Alicia is loving and competent, she has been providing care for over 20 years. She has one full time (very inexpensive) spot available. A perfect transition for a two year old who has been at home or with a nanny. Many great references. I looked at 11 other daycare before I found her.

Alicia Alva is back!! (Daycare reopens- Lake Merritt)
Alicia Alva raised my children during their early years. She made it possible for me to do the work that I loved (community clinic, little pay) and at the same time, have my children in a safe, loving, warm, nurturing, and affordable full time daycare. She is an incredible cook, my kids loved her food, which she lovingly prepares daily, providing meals and snacks. Alicia does this work because she truly loves children, and you can feel it. Her house is the kind of place where all the children like to come back and visit, because they are always welcomed and loved. She had closed her daycare a couple years back, after moving away, but we are lucky that she has chosen to return home. I'm pretty sure it is because she misses the children...Please call Alicia Alva with questions about rates, ages, hours etc. But I remember her prices were extremely affordable.
