I've got about 4 weeks this summer for which I don't have a camp planned for my 12 year old. I'm into the idea of some unstructured vacation time for them, but I don't live in a place where I can just send them out to play all day with a gang of other kids. Which means this time would most likely just involve arguing with me about video games and screen time.

So, can anyone suggest a place to visit reasonably nearby where I could let my kid go be feral outdoors with other kids?
