On March 29, 2023, I was a victim of arson in the city of Oakland and as a result of the arson my Oakland home is now unlivable.

I am in immediate need of a real estate lawyer who is sharp, thorough, creative, who has litigation skills; knowledge of basic contract law will be helpful in pursuing the claim. Empathy for families torn asunder over property disputes is essential.

My son, Lance Cochrane owns several properties and holds an insurance policy that includes our co-owned house, but he has refused to pursue the claim with the insurance company and has ceased all communication with his siblings and me. The situation is untenable, and we urgently need counsel.
