We will be attending the BIS orientation for my child who will be a freshman in the fall. If your family has recent experience (current or last school year) with 9th-grade BIS, we would love to hear about it - what worked well, what didn't. Any advice you would give to someone who's considering the program? How are the 9th-grade BIS teachers? Could teachers cover the course content more quickly if the student is ready to move on? Did it affect your student's peer relationships & friendships on the Berkeley High campus?
