Waterside Workshops is hosting its annual Winter Festival and Kids Bike Giveaway event on Saturday, December 9 from 12-4pm, and we'd love for you to join! Each year, in collaboration with our community partners, we donate around 250 refurbished bikes, helmets, lights, and locks to families and individuals who need them, including migrants, refugees, and low-income households.

Our goal this year is to donate over 100 bikes to Bay Area children during the month of December. To achieve this, we are hosting a holiday party on December 9 that will include a large-scale bike giveaway as well as seasonal treats, live music, and cookie decorating for kids. We'll also be selling bike accessories and handmade gifts crafted in our woodshop, making this a great chance to do some holiday shopping.

All are welcome to join us on this festive occasion, even if you are not picking up a bike. The event will be at Waterside Workshops' campus, 84 Bolivar Drive in Berkeley. We hope to see you there!
