Join us for Pact’s 4thannual convening for adoptive parents of color and their families.
First/Birth Parents Panel: Hear parents who have placed children discuss their experiences with adoption, contact, and the lifelong journey of adoption. Whether you are a current of pre-adoptive parent of foster parent, in contact, seeking contact, od wondering about/confused by the issue of contact with first/birth family, this discussion will provide you with important insights. Panel will be followed by opportunities to debrief with other adoptive/foster families.
Concurrent Youth Programming: Age-appropriate activities will be provided for ages 1-17, including specific activities on exploring adoption. All teens will have an opportunity to participate in a discussion about birth parent connection.
This event is organized by and for adoptive/foster parents of color and their parenting partners.
