Berkeley Rose Waldorf School: In Person Tours for Nursery and Kindergarten
Berkeley Rose Waldorf School, serving Nursery through 8th grade, is committed to in-person learning, and we are teaching in person now! If your child is hungry for the vitality of in-person learning, and our values resonate with you as a parent, your family may find a good fit with us.
We have limited immediate spaces available in our Nursery and Kindergarten programs and in several of our grades classes.
Our youngest learners have been prioritized to meet in person each day since September 1, following all county and city COVID guidelines. Come learn more about our play-based Early Childhood programs and how the songs, stories, homelike activities, painting, drawing, sewing and extensive outdoor time in local natural areas strengthens your child socially, emotionally, and academically. We focus on preserving childhood, giving children's imaginations free reign to develop, leading to the common refrain that Waldorf graduates are among the most most well rounded, confident, intelligent and artistic people. We believe we are preparing the leaders of the future who will have the capacities to solve the mysteries and dilemmas of our world's future.
Our Friday tours, focused on our Nursery and Kindergarten programs, begin at 8:20 am. We will meet outside in a safe way, to observe and discuss our programs. You must have a reservation in order to attend and spaces are very limited. Following a conversation about Waldorf Education and our programs, there will be time for your questions.
