We invite you to come to a tour of the Berkeley Rose School Early Childhood Programs. Berkeley Rose offers a Waldorf-inspired education that cultivates independent thinking and a lifelong love of learning. In the school’s early childhood programs, children learn in a calm, beautiful environment through play, song, storytelling, art and movement. The program serves children age 2.5 through Kindergarten and focuses on developing the whole child, igniting curiosity, wonder, and love of nature.
The children learn to work together in community, caring for themselves and others. The emphasis on play and purposeful work (gardening, painting, building, preparing meals from scratch), experienced within the security of a consistent rhythm, inspires their love of learning and capacity for deep concentration - the building blocks for later academic success.
Our early childhood program is accredited by WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), and all of our teachers are Waldorf trained and accredited. Please come and discover why Waldorf Education is gaining so much momentum and interest worldwide.
Please contact Karen Hunt, our enrollment coordinator at 510-859-7679, or email info [at] berkeleyrose.org
