New Series currently being organized to offer Support to Parents during Shelter-in-Place

Anger & Stress Management Series for Mothers:

This educational series covers how anger rises, how to prevent outbursts, identifying triggers and expectations, and offers parenting skills.  Self-care and self-compassion are introduced throughout.  Please see website for additional information.

Mindful Mothers group:

A new group is currently being formed for mindful moms, who would like to gather online for support and learning.  We will read from the book "Raising Good Humans: A Mindful Guide to Breaking the Cycle of Reactive Parenting and Raising Kind, Confident Kids" by Hunter Clarke-Fields in between sessions.  We then discuss what was useful from the reading and talk about other insights gained in family life, recent victories and current challenges.  Moms support each other in practicing mindfulness in everyday life.

Facilitated by a seasoned therapist, experienced group facilitator, long-time meditator and mother of two young adults.  Please see reviews from previous participants on the linked BPN profile page.  This group is open to new members, or moms who have participated in a previous series in anger & stress management for mothers.

Both groups will likely have a day and evening option.  Cost is at the rate of $50 per session in a series of 8 or 9 sessions, or sliding scale if this would create a hardship.
