A World of Peace Summer Camp: Registration for 2019 summer is now open

Summer & Holiday Camps
Kinder, School-Aged, Preteens, Teens

A World of Peace Summer Day Camp, based in Codornices Park in Berkeley, has openings for all sessions for entering kindergartners thru entering 9th graders. We offer 4, 2-week sessions. Camp runs from June 24th - August 16th, 2019

Camp offers a wide assortment of activities, to entertain school-aged children of all ages. We have classes on Mon., Wed., and Fri., in the park. The classes are: sports, arts & crafts, cooking, and woodworking. The camper's have a great time in these classes and are always looking forward to whatever comes next. On Tues., and Thurs. we take the camper's on field-trips. On Tuesday's we leave the park and go to fun places like fruit picking, small water parks, Aquatic Park, Dolores Park, etc. - mostly outdoor activities. On Thursday's we go to King Pool, at Hopkins Park. We play in the park, eat lunch, then go for public swim time in the afternoons. Some of our camper's are great swimmer's, some don't know how to swim. There are life-guards from the pool, and our staff who stay close to all the camper's. Safety of the camper's is our greatest priority, while we are offering fun and enriching activities.

Base camp is from 9-4. We offer early care from 8-9am, and extended care from 4-6pm. We are a small camp and give the camper's a very personal touch to everything we do. Everyone gets to know each other really quickly, and trust is established between staff and camper's very quickly and easily. We offer need-based scholarships, and there are many discounts offered, including a 5% discount for paying in full by May 1st.

The focus of camp is to build community, and have a great time, while we work together to create a world of peace! Have your children join us this summer - they are bound to have a great time and you are sure to be very happy with this choice!
