Outstanding part-time job as a Tennis Instructor in El Cerrito with long-time USPTA-certified instructor, coach and player Alexander Winslow and the Winslow Tennis Academy.  The Winslow Tennis Academy has been established for years in Berkeley and El Cerrito as a successful small business and highly regarded academy for kids and adults of all ages and skill levels, with many junior academy participants graduating to high school varsity tennis. Work Schedule:  Days and hours are flexible.  In addition, there is some flexibility among several El Cerrito court locations.
Compensation:  The hourly rate is pretty high and also depends on factors such as experience and/or USPTA certification.

Work Environment:  Relaxed and informal but also professional and responsible. Always watching for safety regarding covid and also regarding players’ use of rackets and balls.   Positive and patient with children of various ages and with their parents.  Made easy administratively.

Profile of the successful candidate:  This person needs to know and enjoy playing the game of tennis and have at least some understanding and ability with good stroke mechanics and technique.  More important, this person needs to be able to communicate effectively during the lessons with the clients, usually children.  The candidate needs to have the highest integrity, moral character, and sense of responsibility, and be patient, empathetic, and supportive with children. 

Candidates do not have to be experienced as tennis instructors.
