The Village Kids' Club: Slime Volcano Treasure Hunt Camp

Join us for an unforgettable one-day camp on October 14th, packed with fun, excitement, and hidden learning! This unique camp experience is designed to spark curiosity and creativity in kids through hands-on activities and thrilling adventures.

Session: Slime Volcanoes Extravaganza 

Dive into the world of slime and eruptions as we guide the kids through the creation of their very own lava slime volcanoes! They'll make their own slime and experiment with different ingredients to discover how to make the most impressive, bubbling reactions with oozing slime lava. As they play and create, we'll sneak in some lessons about the scientific method, so they’ll be learning without even noticing! 

Mid-day: Walk to the park, for games, picnics under the sun. 

Session: Secret Codes Treasure Hunt 

The excitement continues with our Secret Codes Treasure Hunt in a Jean Sweeney park. Kids will form teams and embark on an adventurous quest to unlock secret codes and find hidden clues leading to the treasure. This activity not only promotes teamwork and problem-solving skills but also provides a thrilling and engaging outdoor experience. This action-packed day is perfect for kids who love to explore, experiment, and solve mysteries. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a day full of adventure and learning!

Details & Logistics: 

• Age Group: K-5th Graders 

• Drop Off: 8:45–9:00am | Pick Up: 4:00pm 

• Extended Care is 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM 

• Lunch: Bring a labeled water bottle, two hearty snacks, and a nut-free lunch. 

• Attire: Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Note: We’re a "no-shoes" facility, we recommend trampoline socks. 

• Belongings: Leave toys and personal items at home or in the lobby cubbies.
