Dear parents,

UC Berkeley's Evaluation and Assessment Center would like to invite high school students and those who have just graduated from high school to participate in a 40-60 minutes user-research session. This will be carried out over Zoom in one-on-one format, and a student will be asked to work on a few assessment tasks in Computational Thinking while giving feedback to a UC Berkeley researcher. The session can be scheduled at a time that is convenient to students during the week or weekend from late June through August. Students do not have to feel confident about computing/computer science to participate, and we welcome students from a range of math/computer science abilities. Each student participant will receive a $15 Amazon gift certificate per session as a token of appreciation. If you're interested or would like more information, please contact Rebecca McNeil at her email address below.

Thank you for your attention!

Sincerely,
