UCSF Emotion, Health, & Psychophysiology Lab: Seeking Families for Fun, Paid Study!

Researchers & Authors Seeking Parents/Kids
City:
San Francisco
Ages:
School-Aged, Preteens, Teens

Want to contribute to science, have a new experience with your daughter, and earn up to $120? Are you a family with a 9.5-13 year old daughter? Then you may be eligible for the family biology study!

Dads are underrepresented in social science research and their roles in children’s development are less clear as a result. If your spouse/partner is interested in participating, please let us know!

This study involves: A single two-hour lab visit that includes a series of conversations and interactive tasks between parents and daughters while wearing noninvasive equipment which will track their physiology. In addition, you and your spouse/partner and daughter will complete a set of questionnaires online, at your convenience, prior to the lab visit and 6 months after the lab visit. Participating families receive up to $120 in cash and gift cards. We offer flexible scheduling on weekends and weekday afternoons. Due to COVID-19, you will need to complete a brief, online screening procedure the night before coming in to the lab.
