UC Berkeley Research: Research by phone on Vaccine Hesitancy - $20 GiftCard
Dear Bay Area Parents,
I hope you are doing well in these difficult times. My name is Elise Rio, I am a senior Anthropology major at UC Berkeley. This semester I am working on a senior project regarding vaccine hesitancy in California. I am interested in conducting interviews with parents who have any hesitance around vaccinating their children and hearing their opinions on vaccines as well as their feelings around the new California laws that have recently passed to limit medical and personal exemptions. I would also love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the development of new Covid-19 vaccines.
The interviews will be between 30 minutes to 45 minutes and will be over the phone to maintain social distancing. I will make sure to remove any identifiable materials from our discussion for my final project in order to protect your privacy. My research project has already been approved by the Berkeley Research Ethics Board and they will also make sure that everything remains confidential.
I am offering a $20 amazon gift card to anyone who wishes to participate in a phone interview with me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post. If you are interested in meeting with me my email is: eliserio [at] berkeley.edu or my phone number is 949-742-4372.
Please contact me for any questions or to schedule a phone interview if you are interested.
Stay safe and healthy!
