UC Berkeley Building Blocks of Cognition: Research about Memory and Reasoning

Researchers & Authors Seeking Parents/Kids
Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Kinder, School-Aged, Preteens, Teens, Young Adults

We study child development in children between approximately 4 months and 17 years of age. Our research studies typically involve observing how your child responds to objects, faces, patterns, or words. You may stay with your child for the entire duration of the study. Our studies offer various prizes, cash, or gift cards as compensation!

Eligible volunteers will receive compensation at $12/hour for a single session lasting 1-2 hours. If interested, please email below and a researcher will contact you with a few preliminary questions to make sure the study would be a good fit.

Reasons it wouldn't be a good fit include: a history of head and/or eye injury, non-native English speaker, or a history of psychological or neurological disorders or color vision deficiency.

If interested, please email us at childstudies [at] berkeley.edu or developmentallabs [at] berkeley.edu (it's the quickest way to reach us).
