Stressors for adolescents are everywhere, from meeting deadlines, to test-taking and changing peer relationships.  Given the negative impact of stress on learning, memory, and the ability to cope, what is our role as parents in supporting them during these pivotal years?  Please join us in conversation with clinical and educational psychologist Dr. Sophia Genone to explore practical strategies to connect with your teen during anxious moments, and help them develop the self-regulation skills to navigate challenges with confidence and ease.

Dr. Genone is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY30183), Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP3290), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist in independent practice in the Bay Area. With a doctorate in School Psychology from UC Berkeley, Dr. Genone completed her postdoctoral training through the UCSF Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and has been supporting students and families in school, clinical, and private practice settings since 2009.  She has expertise in the assessment of children with wide-ranging needs, in addition to collaborative behavioral problem-solving, and social-emotional skills building.
