Survey: Berkeley Restroom Online Survey Open until 3/31/20
The City of Berkeley has contracted with Hyphae Design Lab, a local expert in public sanitation, to complete a study of public restrooms in Berkeley. The study will assess existing public restroom facilities and the need for public sanitation using data and public feedback, and propose a set of strategies to fully meet the need based on precedents and lessons from other cities. Parents, children, and families are a particularly important group of public restroom users with unique needs. It is important that your needs and feedback are included in this study. We have created a brief online survey to gather your input and better understand your perspective and needs. Your input will inform the Study's proposals that will guide and prioritize future improvements to restrooms in Berkeley. You can find the survey here: berkeleywash.org/community-survey.html. It will be open until March 31, 2020. It has 15 questions. For more information on the project you can find a short summary on the report tab of the survey website and a map of existing restrooms (in blue) and proposed new locations (in red) on the map tab. The survey will ask for your feedback on the red proposed locations.
