Summit Center: Virtual Support Group for Parents of Gifted & 2e Kids
Parenting a sensitive, excitable, or intense child can be both rewarding and challenging. With families all at home these days, stress and anxiety may add to the struggle. However, you are not alone! Join our guided weekly discussion group around the unique challenges that bright, intense, gifted or 2e (both gifted and has a learning difference) children bring to families. We will meet Monday afternoons, beginning June 29, through Google Meet.
The group will offer a forum for parents to share parenting concerns, seek support with others who have similar experiences, learn about social-emotional needs, and better understand your child's development. Held virtually on Monday afternoons, 1:00-2:00 pm, starting June 29, through Google Meet /Hangout. Facilitated by Dr. Ellena Chen and Melanie Hayes, both certified SENG facilitators, of Summit Center’s Walnut Creek office. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
