Summit Center: Parent Group re Gifted &2e Children Starts Monday 10/19
Last chance to register! Discussion Group for Parents of Gifted & Twice-Exceptional Children starts Monday, October 19, 7:00 pm.
- Do you want to better understand your gifted, twice-exceptional, sensitive, or intense child?
- Do you want to learn more about their social-emotional needs?
- Do you need help with family dynamics, motivation, or discipline -- especially as we continue to navigate remote learning and Covid?
You are not alone! Please join our guided weekly discussion group around the unique challenges our children bring to our families. The group will offer a forum for parents to speak freely about their child/children's development, share parenting concerns, seek support with others who have similar experiences, and learn about the social-emotional needs of gifted or 2e (twice-exceptional) children.
Facilitated by Dr. Ellena Chen, certified SENG facilitator, with Gohar Jaffer, doctoral trainee, of Summit Center’s Walnut Creek office. $250 for five sessions through Google Meet. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Details at https://conta.cc/2Zr9V7e
