San Francisco
Ages:
Preteens, Teens

Do you have a budding filmmaker in the family? Why not give them a chance to deepen their skills in the Teen Film Workshop? Last year several of our students were admitted to NYU Film School and placed at numerous film festivals throughout the country.

The Teen Film Workshop, give students aged 11-20 with the tools and opportunities they need to interpret and create art in the medium of film. Our weekly sessions run from October to June, providing program participants with the opportunity and the resources to experience the art of film through screenings and discussion of exemplary works by great masters of the medium; to study the medium of film by working with mentor-artists on the conceptualization, development, and production of their own films, enabling them to build a portfolio of work; and to present their original films in public screenings. Each year, new students are introduced to the fundamentals of professional filmmaking, while returning students refine and deepen their skills.

We have a few slots left in our class starting this month, so sign up soon. For more information go to https://www.filmworkshopsf.org/
