Rocca Creative Mentoring: Arts-Based Mental Health Support for Youth

Services for Parents, Families & Children
SF Bay Area
School-Aged, Preteens, Teens, Young Adults

Greetings! My name is Lyndsey Rocca. I am a Masters-level Expressive Arts Therapist and AMFT providing sliding-scale one-on-one creative mentorship services to youth and young adults ages 7-21. Creative mentorship offers an alternative to traditional therapy which centers creative process, mindfulness, and connection with nature as tools for helping young people find their own ways of creatively navigating life's challenges.

Topics we explore include depression and anxiety, grief and loss, change and transition, befriending difficult emotions, social / familial challenges, experiences of injustice, identity exploration, cultivation of self-compassion, and belonging within one's community and the natural world. I believe that young people have so much internal wisdom, and my goal is provide a warm, free and open, nonjudgmental space for them to connect to that wisdom and learn to channel it towards a life they feel proud and excited about.

Due to logistics and safety precautious surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, most weekly services will be held over Zoom through the end of 2021. I have also begun resuming outdoor-based sessions on an ad-hoc basis. Please reach out to learn more about my current program structure and offerings! I offer free 30 minute consultations to determine whether creative mentorship is right for your family.

Feel free to visit my website for more information, or reach out by phone or email to schedule:

Many thanks!
