Rachel Jenkins-Stevens, LCSW: Anti-racism discussion group for white parents
Discussion group for white anti-racist parenting practices and raising anti-racist children.
This is a group for parents with white privilege who want a space to explore, with honesty and curiosity, the often messy, confusing, difficult topics that are essential in unpacking and understanding the ways that whiteness and white privilege inform their family lives and parenting.
We will tackle topics such as talking with kids about race, and thinking about how to use white privilege toward anti-racism. And much more.
Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 starting September 23rd, 4 sessions over zoom (If you are interested but this time doesn’t work for you, please get in touch! Another group will happen in the future).
Cost: There is a sliding scale fee for the group. The scale is from $0- $300 for all four sessions. The intention is for people who are interested in the group to find it accessible, and for the fee not to be a barrier to joining the group.
