Class will be led by Silvana Rohner. I have always danced and have been an oriental dance teacher in my home country. I am pregnant and have adapted my dance moves to my growing belly and aches I am experiencing during my pregnancy. I believe that focusing on gentle pelvic and spine movements such as hip circles, figure 8s, hip drops, upper body circles, etc. help to release tension and give greater mobility. I also focus on strengthening and stretching the pelvic floor and glutes by exercising certain beneficial birthing poses such as goddess poses and wide-legged squats. This is not a dance class, i.e. no music. It's a prenatal movement class for your growing belly and baby.
