Jordana Counseling: Adolescent Support Group "Finding Connection, Oct 13th!
Do you have a teen who is experiencing anxiety and/or depression? For many teens, this year has been filled with many transitions and uncertainty, resulting in anxiety and stress.
I am a therapist (AMFT-125349 and PRDT-17) who has worked for almost 20 years with youth and families in NYC and the Bay Area. If you are a parent of a teen or work with adolescent youth experiencing anxiety and/or depression, I am offering an 8-week support group,"Finding Connections: Adolescent Support Group". The group will meet online on Wednesdays from 4:30-6 pm starting October 13th.
The group will:
*Create a space for youth to express themselves, make social connections, and learn new coping skills.
*Will be interactive and engaging - using drama and creative arts therapies techniques to create a safe, playful, and connected environment. I use creative and drama therapy approaches (yes, it can be done online and be very effective, I am happy to tell you more!)
