Jobs: Census Jobs!
(from an email sent by the City of Berkeley)
Apply now for flexible, well-paying Census Bureau jobs in May and June. Earn $25 per hour and help make sure Berkeley gets our fair share of state and federal funding over the next 10 years by applying for a job as a Census taker.
People in these flexible, part-time jobs referred to as “enumerators” will go door to door to help those who have not completed the Census form. You’ll get paid for training and have short commutes because you’ll be assigned to work in your own community.
Strong candidates will enjoy working with people, be comfortable interacting with new people in new locations, and be able to work evenings or weekends. Candidates who speak more than one language are especially desired.
Complete the U.S. Census Bureau application online by Dec. 31 at https://2020census.gov/en/jobs.html. Interviews will happen in January and February. The jobs will primarily work in May and June.
