Girls on the Go Camp: Field Trip Camps Encourage Independence
At Girls on the Go Camp, tweens and teens explore, imagine, and connect with one another and the beautiful Bay Area. Our mission is to support kids to be bold, confident, and fully expressed, while co-creating an environment of fun, respect, and inclusion. Campers experience days full of fun and sustainable activities in a variety of Bay Area locations—it’s a great opportunity to try something new. Children in the 9-13 year old range can get tired of traditional day camps, so they have planned programming to hold their interest and help them develop a sense of independence and responsibility.
“Our girl came home happy and more confident. She was able to overcome fears surrounded by the power of the all-girls group. There is only so much we can do as family to help her face fears, learn, and grow. She needed that boost from her peers, and you gave that to her. We are so grateful.” – Parent of a Girls on the Go camper
