Are you prepared for her first period?Friday, December 2nd from 12:00 - 1:00 pm orTuesday, December 6th from 7 - 8 pm PST

When I taught in a traditional classroom, every year at least one of my third or fourth graders started their period! As first I was surprised by how young they were, but then I shifted that energy to doing everything possible to make sure my students and their parents were prepared. It makes all the difference in the world when parents are ready. From period underwear to swimsuits, product innovation has come a long way and there are so many little things we can do that empower our daughters to have a positive experience.

In this class, you will learn about clues that your daughter’s first period is near, what to expect, and practical tips and tricks for how to get prepared for her first period and beyond.

We can build a human!A new narrative about how the egg and the sperm uniteWednesday, December 7th from 12 - 1 pm and 7 - 8 pm PST

One of the most common questions kids ask is, “Why do our bodies change during puberty?” We can build a human! In this class, we will learn about a modern and innovative new narrative that explains all of the possibilities for the egg and sperm to unite. You will learn easy ways to explain reproduction that take the cringey vibes out of the conversation and open up doors to empowerment and honest communication. You’ll learn specific language that easily allows you to embody a calm, comfortable, and confident tone when you talk to your kids about this complex subject. This class will cover how to talk to kids about basic male and female reproductive anatomy, sexual reproduction, adoption, egg and sperm donation, surrogacy, in vitro fertilization, and the gender spectrum. Try saying that three times really fast!
