Frances Jones, MS: Workshops for Stressed Remote-Working Parents
Kids + trying to work from home + sheltering-in-place = %^^@#&^@#!!
I now offer straightforward, friendly, and concise virtual workshops to help you, as a parent, balance family, self-care, and remote work (and get a chance to connect and share ideas with other parents in the process!). The first workshop is scheduled for May 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (to register and learn more, go to https://stressingfromhome.eventbrite.com [use promo code BPN15 for 15% off]).
If you can't make the scheduled workshop but are interested in attending one at another time, and/or if you would like to request a private workshop for you and a group of other parents, please reach out to me at francesjonesworkshops [at] gmail.com so we can figure something out!
A little bit about me: I have an MS in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. I am an adjunct faculty member at San Francisco State University and an experienced group facilitator. Prior to transitioning to my current career, I was a book editor working from home for many years, and am no stranger to the perils and possibilities of remote work.
Finally, a disclaimer: My workshops are for educational purposes only. They do not include therapy, and they are not a substitute for therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you at a workshop! -- Frances Jones
