Firecracker Math: Last chance to sign up for July Math Camp!
A few spaces are still open at selected sessions in July. Locations include Berkeley, San Francisco, Piedmont and Lafayette.
The Firecracker Math Summer Camp is for curious and challenge-loving kids from 6 to 16. The camp combines math classes in the morning followed by a choice of complementary activities in the afternoon.
Our main focus is developing kids’ problem-solving and logical reasoning skills, and showing them how math concepts describe the world around us.
Our approach provides a strong foundation for all STEM subjects. Topics covered include number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, logic, the basics of computer science, and others. There are math games, curious paradoxes, and fun contests to help our students gain confidence and spark their interest in math. There is maximum number of 12 kids in a class. Full-day or half-day (math only) options are available.
Afternoon activities are carefully chosen and include art, magic, fun science and games. More information can be obtained from our website.
