Firecracker Math is an enrichment program that offers in-person and online after-school small groups, summer camps, and private lessons. We aim to spark children’s interest in math, deepen their knowledge and further develop their aptitude and talent. Spring Term starts the week of March 13th and runs through May 19th. Classes for kids grades K-2, 3 - 5, and 6 - 9 at our locations in Berkeley, Lafayette, and Oakland/Piedmont.

Our curriculum focuses on the exploration and understanding of mathematical concepts and teaching kids the skills of problem-solving and logical reasoning. We foster a creative learning environment employing experienced and enthusiastic teachers with advanced degrees in math or science. Small group size ensures close teacher-to-student interaction and attention to each child’s needs and pace of learning.

Drop-ins are welcome. Contact us at hello [at] firecrackermath.org, and we will help you with drop-ins. We also offer a prorated rate for late enrollments for classes that still have spaces. Class material does not repeat each week.
