Parenting Through Toddler Tantrums and Development

Using tools drawn from respectful-parenting approaches like RIE® and Hand in Hand Parenting, this workshop will help you understand what your toddler is experiencing, how his or her brain works, and what she or he is developmentally capable of in this tumultuous and tender time. It will also offer you tools for setting firm but respectful limits, helping your toddler with tantrums and big feelings, and supporting yourself during these intense years.

In addition, you will learn how to lighten your load through laughter and play.

This workshop will be on Zoom through Natural Resources in San Francisco.

Facilitator:

Caroline Griswold is a respectful-parenting educator and coach. She helps parents find greater joy and connection with their children, and grow into their parenting with grace, insight, and humor. She is passionate about bringing more ease and confidence to parenting, and facilitating respectful communication between parents and babies from the start. A lifelong educator, Caroline was inspired to pursue certification in Hand in Hand Parenting and Magda Gerber’s Educaring® Approach (RIE) and after experiencing how these respectful parenting approaches transformed her relationships with her son and partner.
