Fertile Ground Parenting: Keeping it Together When You Are Triggered – May 18
Monday, May 18, 2020
Offered via Zoom (through Natural Resources; recording will be made available to all registrants)
When we are triggered, exhausted or overwhelmed, we sometimes say things to our children and partners we later regret. We feel bad not only because we let our emotions get the best of us, but also because we know that our children learn to relate to themselves and others by observing our modeling. Imagine how powerful it would be to model the ability to approach our own big feelings and triggers with confidence and empathy. Come to this two-hour workshop to:
- Acquire powerful tools to communicate consciously with your family when you feel triggered or exhausted;
- Learn how to repair connections that get broken when you lose it; and
- Avoid regret and self-criticism.
