East Bay School for Boys: Openings for 6-8 for Fall
The East Bay School for Boys is an innovative middle school model in which all kinds of boys become engaged, thoughtful, and courageous young adults. Based on the latest research about how boys learn and what they need to succeed, we strive to build intellectually curious and emotionally intelligent youth who are catalyzed to challenge stereotypes and bring powerful, positive, and peaceful change to our world.
While EBSB is perhaps best known for the Work program, our 21st Century shop class, our innovative and rigorous academic program also dives deeply into the humanities, math, science, Spanish, and physical education at every grade level. Sixth grade students also benefit from music and Capoeira classes, while 7th and 8th graders select two enrichment electives per week per trimester.
Our program aligns with the best practices used in both independent and public schools. We’ve designed an innovative and responsive curriculum that is tailored to the learning needs of middle school boys. Choosing a middle school for your student is an important decision. We’re here to answer any questions you may have and support you in your search.
