East Bay Art Therapy: Online Art Therapy Groups for Teens
East Bay Art Therapy is holding 2 online art therapy support groups for teens:
Girls Empowerment Art Therapy Group is for teen girls ages 14-18. This art therapy group integrates therapeutic art making with talk therapy and focuses on self-esteem, social skills, relationships, body image, identity, and managing symptoms such as anxiety and depression.
March 21st - May 9th, 2020 (8 weeks)
There are still spots available in this group and new participants can join in week 2.
Co-Ed Art Therapy Teen Support Group is for teens ages 14-18. This art therapy groups integrates therapeutic art making with talk therapy and focuses on self-esteem, social skills, relationships, identity, and managing symptoms such as anxiety and depression. This group is meant to provide social connection and anxiety reduction during this time of uncertainty and social isolation especially for teens who are especially vulnerable to anxiety, stress, or social isolation.
April 2nd - TBD
Both groups take place through online video conferencing through Zoom.
$60/ 90 min group (sliding scale available!)

The groups are facilitated by Tonia Herrero, MPS, ATR-BC who is a board certified art therapist in private practice in Oakland, CA. She is accepting new individual clients ages 6 and up.
