Deborah Davis Writing and Consulting: Deborah Davis's College Essay Workshop
Get a jump on writing your college application essays!
Take the mystery and stress out of writing college application essays. In this five-afternoon writing workshop (online and in-person options), you'll learn to write outstanding essays. You’ll learn the elements of a strong college application essay, generate topic ideas, and draft and revise answers to the four UC Personal Insight Questions, the Common Application Personal Statement, and the "Why this school?" essay. Limited to 6 students, you’ll receive daily individualized attention and constructive essay feedback. By the end of the five days, you'll have strong drafts of six application essays.
Workshop participants are guaranteed space in Deborah’s one-on-one essay coaching practice—although many workshop participants leave the workshop with the confidence and skills to finish their essays without the need for additional guidance.
Workshop Bonus: Follow-up feedback on your UC and Common App Personal Statement
