Online Creative Writing Classes for Middle and High School Students

--Online Format, Four-Week Sessions from 4:15-5:45 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for middle school students and Thursdays for high school students

Sign up for 1 or more sessions.

Session 1: (note: no classes the first week of September: 9/6, 9/7 and 9/8)

  • Tuesday: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 (for middle schoolers)
  • Wednesday: 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5 (for middle schoolers)
  • Thursday: 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6 (for high school students)

Session 2: (note: no classes the last two weeks of October and November: 10/25, 10/26, 10/27; 11/1; 11/2, 11/3)

  • Tuesday: 10/11, 10/18, 11/8, 11/15 (for middle school students)
  • Wednesday: 10/12, 10/19, 11/9, 11/16 (for middle school students)
  • Thursday: 10/13, 10/20, 11/10, 11/17 (for high school students)

What I Offer:

For middle school and high school students who enjoy writing poetry, stories, lyrics, skits, this class gives them an opportunity to immerse themselves in learning new creative writing skills and writing new poetry and stories in a positive and safe environment with other creative writers their same age. Separate classes for middle school and high school students.

  • I am a retired credentialed 32-year Middle School Creative Writing, ELA, and History teacher
  • I have led Creative Writing groups for 29 years

Logistics and Fees

  • The tuition is $80-100 per session based on what parents/guardians feel comfortable paying. Full payment is expected before the first class.  If you join mid-session, I prorate the tuition.
  • I accept Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.
