Children's Community Center (CCC): **Now enrolling for the 25-26 school year**

We are thrilled to announce that we are now enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year. Applications are due by Jan 15th, 2025.

Applicants are required to tour CCC within 6 months before applying. Please schedule a tour or email tours [at] cccpreschool.org with any questions.

We have two classrooms, the Front Yard is for children who will be 2 years and 9 months by September 1, 2025, the Back Yard is for children who will be 4 by September 1, 2025.

CCC has been around for 98 years and is the first cooperative nursery school in California, and one of the first in the country. CCC is a play-based/developmental cooperative preschool with meaningful parent involvement. The cooperative model values collaboration between parents and teachers, and offers ample opportunities for parents to participate in their child’s learning experience and the co-op.  The curriculum, based on principles and beliefs about the way children grow and learn, is that children at the preschool age learn best through play. Play-based programs have been shown to be very helpful in preparing children for academic settings. Children at CCC have a great deal of choice in how they spend their time. Appropriate social interaction is also a major goal of a developmental program.

CCC strives to admit a diverse class of students across many dimensions. CCC offers year round care: Our morning program runs from 9am-12:30pm five days per week. We also offer early morning care from 8-9am as well as after care from 12:30-5:30pm with an option to pick up at 3:30pm,during the regular academic year. Full time summer care is also offered.

Our new tuition model ensures all families in our community are contributing within their financial means.  Additional tuition assistance is also available.
