Broadway Children's School of Oakland: Openings in "Parents and Children Together" Program

Parent Classes, Workshops & Groups
Toddlers, Adults

Are you caring for an infant/toddler, age 18 months to two+ years old, and looking for a part-time program that offers education, connection and enrichment for both you and your child at the same time, with a little free time for you built in? Broadway Children's School of Oakland has openings for the 2019-20 school year in our unique Parents and Children Together (PACT) program for 2-year-olds and their caregivers, beginning in September.

The program meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. A typical day in PACT includes art and music, stories, a nutritious snack, and indoor/outdoor playtime. In this cooperative program, parents assist a group of experienced teachers on a given number of Tuesdays each year. On Tuesdays not scheduled to assist, parents are free to break away. Parents spend every Thursday morning at school; a portion of that time is spent doing activities with the children, and the rest of the morning is dedicated to a discussion/parent education group. PACT provides an opportunity for parents to share the joys and frustrations of parenthood and to develop a supportive, caring community as they learn together and connect with children, teachers, and other parents.

Please call or email Diana to schedule a tour and to learn more about BCSO's preschool programs.
