Berkeley Rose Waldorf School: Little Ferns Hiking Group - Mothering Circle
Little Ferns Hiking Group
We are pleased to resume our Little Ferns Hiking Group for new walkers through preschoolers and a caregiver/parent, in two Summer sessions. This class is designed to get your child moving in a healthy way, and to encourage simple enjoyment of the outdoors, with little to no agenda, belongings, or preparation needed. We'll discuss developmental movement and why it's so important. Teacher Bonnie will offer articles to read, and the facilitated discussion of curated topics will also leave room for your questions and concerns. Visit our website for times and dates and to register.
Groups now forming, to begin when we have five confirmed participants.
Express your interest here, and we’ll let you know when we have the right number of mamas to begin a new session.
Mondays, 6:30-8pm; Thursdays, 1-2:30pm. Via Zoom. Groups now forming, to begin when we have five interested mamas.
Best for expectant mothers and those parenting newborns to 3 year olds.
Our Mothering Circle community is designed to support mothers who are expecting or are raising young children, ages 0-3y, though any mama is welcome. Join our group to receive friendship and encouragement, nurtured by group leader Bonnie Romanow, and in community with other mothers. Explore ways to care for yourself while creatively meeting the demands of motherhood; Wise Women practitioners visit our Zooms to provide education on topics such as nourishment, your child's health, relationships after children, and caring for the post-partum body. During week one, we'll address the logistics of participating in the circle with children at home. There'll be plenty of time for your questions.
